    Course Structure
The course is divided into three parts: Instructor Development Course (IDC), EFR Instructor course and the Instructor Exams (IE).

You will be doing your IDC on the first 10 days. The IDC is aimed to develop PADI Divemasters and Assistant Instructors to become a PADI Instructors. The course is focused on teaching you how to teach other people to scuba dive and also to make you more aware about the business side of the scuba diving industry. During the IDC, you should be able to show your competence at performing all 24 dive skills from the skill circuit and rescue skill as you are already a professional diver before IDC. Hence, if you think you need to brush up on your diving skills and gain some hands on experience in running a dive centre before starting the IDC, why not consider our IDC Internship programme.

The EFR Instructor course will last for a day. This is your chance to refresh your skills in dealing with emergency and look at the course from a different perspective as an instructor.

The final 2 days are your IE, where you will sit for written and practical exams.

Once you have completed the IDC and IE, you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI), allowing you to teach up to PADI Divemaster.

    Equipment
You are required to have the full set of equipment for IDC and IE as listed below. However, a lot of candidates choose to buy some if not all of their equipments here because of luggage allowance and also because they may not be familiar with warm water diving. We are more than happy to help you equip yourself and we will take 10% off our equipment price for our IDC candidates.
